As you are aware, the codes used to report physician telephone evaluation and management (E/M) services (99441– 99443) were revised in Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) 2008, and new codes were added to report telephone E/M services provided by a qualified nonphysician health care professional (98966–98968).
