Previous AAP Pediatric Coding Newsletter™ articles reviewed Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) code changes for 2014 considered most relevant to pediatrics. This article will review additional CPT changes that will affect reporting of certain surgical procedures performed using imaging guidance and catheter drainage of fluid collections. The following changes became effective January 1, 2014.
