A 3-year-old patient is moving out of the toddler stage and toward being a preschooler. This child can do more activities of daily living with minimal assistance, or even independently. They can help clothe themselves and eat independently. During this time, children also learn cooperative play and to share. This module outlines the important features of the 3-year-old visit.
