2 Year (24 Month) Well Visit
Commentary by Jillian Connors, MD, FAAP
Published September 2024
Your patient has now turned two years old (24 months) and is likely a very active, curious toddler. Children at this age remain inquisitive about the world around them and are pushing boundaries as they are striving to gain a sense of independence. This age can be both fun and extremely challenging, and this can change from minute to minute—thus routine and consistency are key! Communication skills are also exploding, and often a two-year-old can surprise you with how much they are learning and understanding.
This module outlines the important features of the two-year-old well-visit and this developmental stage.
