By achieving a 60% passing score and completing the required number of quizzes from the yearly subscription, and claiming full credit for each quiz within a calendar year, you can claim MOC credits.

Important notes regarding MOC credit

The date that you complete the required number of quizzes will be the Earned Date that is recorded for the activity. Please be aware of that with regard to claiming.

CME quizzes must be met within the same calendar year for each journal subscription year to count towards the threshold, and must be within the CME eligibility period (3 years). For example, 2021 Pediatrics in Review could be earned by completing 30 quizzes in 2021; but quizzes completed in other years would not count towards the threshold; and MOC can only be claimed once for each journal year.
To claim your MOC points:
- Log into the AAP Transcript system, either by
- Navigating from the CME quiz....
....and clicking on the My AAP Transcripts tab (red arrow below):

- Navigating from the CME quiz....
- Search for your activities or use the filters to the right. You can expand each month using the links below to see which quizzes have been completed.
- When you have completed the required number of CME quizzes (see above), within a subscription and calendar year, you will see an MOC link on the right side.
- Confirm the correct ABP ID number on file with AAP; otherwise your claim won’t go through. Click Submit for MOC Credit
