A male infant is born at term gestation with a birthweight of 2,200 g to a gravida 3 mother with 2 previous liveborn infants. There is no history of consanguinity. Her antenatal period is uncomplicated except for the oligohydramnios detected 7 days before delivery. The infant is delivered at another hospital by cesarean section due to oligohydramnios, and breastfeeding is started from the first hour after birth. Parents noted fast breathing and feeding difficulty, which seem to be slowly increasing in severity from day 12 after birth. The infant presented to our emergency room on day 15 after birth. There is no history of present or past severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection in the mother or the family.
