Mission
NeoReviews.org is an online journal directed at individuals involved with neonatal-perinatal medicine. By providing contemporary, in-depthreviews of major topics in the field, NeoReviews enhances continuous professional development of specialists and trainees in neonatal-perinatal medicine and provides an opportunity for lifelong learning aimed at optimal patient outcomes.
The journal also seeks to provide historical, international and educational perspectives, together with case discussions, to address core curriculum needed to prepare for Maintenance of Certification. Content is derived from the Content Specifications of the American Board of Pediatrics. Major reviews also include questions available for continuing medical education credits.
NeoReviews offers 24 CME articles per year. A maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ is earned after achieving a 60% score on each designated quiz. An additional 24 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ are available with a subscription to NeoReviewsPlus, which offers 10 new peer-reviewed self-assessment questions each month; the NeoReviewsPlus self-assessment is approved by the ABP for 20 MOC Part 2: Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment points per year.
This activity is approved for 10.00 points of MOC Part 2 credit by the American Board of Pediatrics. All approved activities must be completed by the MOC Credit Approval End Date. All deadlines and MOC point values should be confirmed by checking the ABP Activity Catalog within each physician’s ABP Portfolio.
The editor-in-chief of NeoReviews is Dara Brodsky, MD, Associate Director of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and Associate Professor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. The associate editor is Josef Neu, MD, Professor, Neonatology Division, Department of Pediatrics, University of Florida College of Medicine.
