An error appeared in the article by Weinzimer et al, titled “Persistence of Benefits of Continuous Subcutaneous Insulin Infusion in Very Young Children with Type 1 Diabetes: A Follow-up Report,” which was published in the December 2004 issue of Pediatrics (2004;114:1601–1605). The error involves the age range of the subject group. On page 1602, the first sentence of “Results” currently reads: “The study population was composed of 65 children (28 girls), with mean age at pump initiation of 4.5 ± 1.4 years (range: 1.7–6.9; Table 1).” It should read: “The study population was composed of 65 children (28 girls), with mean age at pump initiation of 4.5 ± 1.4 years (range: 1.4–6.9; Table 1).”
