A case of a fibrous-walled, bile-containing cyst in an infant, secondary to injury to the common duct, is presented. Since this is believed to be the first such case to appear in the medical literature, the term pseudocholedochal cyst is suggested. A brief review of the clinical picture of choledochal cyst is given, since the findings in this case, and in the reported cases of true choledochal cysts, are similar.
