An error occurred in the article by Amirav I et al, titled “Patient and Researcher Engagement in Health Research: A Parent’s Perspective” published in the September 2017 issue of Pediatrics (2017;140[3]: e20164127; doi:10.1542/peds.2016-4127). The authors state: The published Fig 1 appeared as a “rainbow” schematic developed by Vandall-Walker. The intended “monochromatic” schematic had not yet been received from the professional graphic artist by the time of publication. Since subsequent publications include this professionally developed monochromatic schematic, confusion has resulted. The authors hope that this updated erratum can help clarify the difference for readers.
