Errors occurred in the article by Chew D et al, titled “Hormonal Treatment in Young People With Gender Dysphoria: A Systematic Review” published in the April 2018 issue of Pediatrics (2018;141(4): e20173742; doi:10.1542/peds.2017-3742).

On page 11, in Table 2, under row 1 of “Other Physical Effects”, the text reads “increase in Hct after 1–3 mo but return to baseline; increase in Hb after 4–6 mo but return to baseline;”. This should have read: “initial decrease in Hct and Hb but returned to baseline;”.

On page 14, under the Estrogen header, the fourth sentence reads “Hb was found to be significantly elevated after 4 to 6 months,32 with a corresponding increase in Hct in 1 to 3 months.” This should have read: “Hb and Hct were found to have decreased initially but returned to baseline after approximately 6-12 months.32
