Those of us involved in the Pediatrics Review and Education Program (PREP) are excited about a new learning experience being made available to pediatric clinicians. PREP Audio presents monthly critical conversations on a variety of pediatric topics. Far different from a lecture, these teaching sessions are spontaneous discussions of interesting and relevant clinical topics by experts in their fields. These natural, nonscripted conversations add vitality and depth that can come only from a free-flowing, spontaneous interchange of ideas and experiences.

The editor of PREP Audio is Dr Kurt Metzl, clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, who has had extensive experience as a practicing pediatrician, teacher, and editor of audio teaching programs. The discussants in the clinical conversations are among the most experienced and distinguished members of their respective fields.
