Review Article Requirements
- Word limit: 4,000 words
- Tables, images, graphs, and other figures welcome and do not count towards the word limit
- Meant for an audience of clinicians; should be practical and applicable.
While authors are free to write in an order that best fits the content, our usual organization follows this general outline:
- Practice or Education Gaps
- Objectives
- Introduction (brief history of problem, incidence/prevalence, rationale for management approach if appropriate)
- Pathogenesis (brief emphasis on how pathogenesis affects clinical approach)
- Diagnosis
- Management
- Summary/Clinical Pearls
